An open air brass band entertainment contest in the Town Square of Kirkby Lonsdale. Each band marches down to the square and then plays a 20 minute concert. Free entry for spectators! As you will have seen on the front page, this year the band qualified for the National Brass Band Championship Finals in Cheltenham. The best 20 bands in our section from all over the UK will go head to head in the Final hoping to be crowned National  Champions. This is not a cheap event, [...]

The band will mark Remembrance Sunday in our home village as we do every year, by marching the procession from Doctors Lane to St Mary's Church. We will remember them.
