  The Area Qualifying contest for the National Finals in October at Cheltenham, where the band will be competing in the Third Section against 14 other bands from around the North West.

A parade of Scouts from all over West Lancashire to mark St George's Day

  "The Greatest Free Show on Earth" will once again be taking place in the villages of Saddleworth and Tameside, with over 100 bands from all over the world competing against each other in this world famous march contest.

  The very popular Kirkby Lonsdale Entertainments contest. Bands march down to the Market Square and then play a 20 minute concert programme. Audience entry is free! The band has an excellent record in this contest placing in the top two each time we have entered and winning best soloist twice along with best hymn [...]
