The very popular Kirkby Lonsdale Entertainments contest. Bands march down to the Market Square and then play a 20 minute concert programme. Audience entry is free! The band has an excellent record in this contest placing in the top two each time we have entered and winning best soloist twice along with best hymn and best deportment.
